Opening it the first time
Blobline isn't code-signed yet, so your computer asks before the first launch. This goes away once it's signed.
On a Mac

Open the .dmg and drag Blobline into Applications.

Open Blobline. When macOS says it can't verify it, click Done.

In System Settings → Privacy & Security, click Open Anyway next to "Blobline was blocked".

Open Blobline again and choose Open.
On Windows

Run the installer.

If Windows says it protected your PC, click More info, then Run anyway.

The first start can take a minute while Windows checks the new program.

No Z1 to hand?
Try the demo
Open Blobline and choose Try the demo on the Loading tab. It downloads part of a PEG/DEX measurement (about 410 MB, once) so you can try every step.
